About She
Marina Meo is a curator, artist, and artist mentor originally from Southern Italy and based in London for over a decade. Moving to the city in search of her own identity and direction has profoundly shaped her practice, informing an ongoing engagement with the layered realities of urban life, cultural multiplicity, and shifting social contexts. Working across curatorial practice, artistic research, and public engagement, Marina develops projects that explore the relationship between perception, embodiment, memory, and imagination. Her interests span contemporary art, sensory experience, phenomenology, consciousness, and the psychological dimensions of human experience. Through exhibitions, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaborations, she investigates how artistic encounters can stimulate reflection, expand perception, and create alternative modes of engagement with ourselves, others, and the environments we inhabit. Marina is currently studying Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London, within the Department of Visual Cultures.
