As Artist Mentor for the Schools Studio Programme at Goldsmiths, I worked with sixth-form students " Artist Champions " from Deptford Green School as part of a year-long widening participation initiative designed to support access to higher education, creative and curatorial practice.
Throughout the academic year, I supported students through practical workshops, group critiques, and mentoring sessions. The programme focused on developing coursework, critical thinking, communication skills, and confidence in discussing curatorial work.
- My Role -
Involved helping students refine their artistic ideas, navigate project development, and reflect on their creative processes. I also contributed to workshop delivery and collaborative learning activities designed to strengthen subject knowledge and encourage experimentation.

This experience expanded my skills in arts education, workshop facilitation, mentoring, and collaborative teaching. It also provided valuable experience supporting young people within an educational setting. As part of the role, I completed safeguarding training and worked under an Enhanced DBS certification.
